MUSTAFA AL FAHDI
Owner, General Manager & Tour Guide
Graduated in tourism at Oman Tourism College in Muscat, Mustafa has been working for many years as a free lance tour guide exploring far and wide all Oman, a country that he knows like the back of his hand. In 2012 he founded Desert Camels Adventure Tours. He is passionate of deserts and trekking, so it's more likely to meet him outdoor driving on the dunes or climbing a mountain than at the office desk.
CHIARA MOLINATTO
General Manager, Travel Designer & Tour Guide
After a master's degree in archaeology at Turin University in Italy, Chiara transformed her passion for travelling into a job as a tour leader for Italian groups. She loves deserts, photography, Africa and Middle East. Her adventures around the world eventually brought her to Oman, where she has been living and working for Desert Camels Adventure Tours since 2014, designing and guiding tours with dedication and enthusiasm.

Transports & Logistics Manager
Juma started in tourism arranging tours on Jebel Akhdar and promoting his native region with local and foreign visitors. Today he is in charge with Mustafa of our fleet, coordinating the drivers and dealing the business with several companies using Desert Camels Adventure Tours as a 4WD cars supplier.
MADDALENA SALVAI
Booking Agent, Customer Care & Sustainability Coordinator
Archaeologist and egyptologist, she guides visitors at the Egyptian Museum in Turin. She lives in Italy with her husband, two little girls and several pets. In 2022 she discovered a new great passion: Oman. For Desert Camels Adventure Tours she answers to emails, books the best accommodation and coordinates the company sustainability.

Our local agency in Oman was born from the shared passion for travel and nature of Chiara and Mustafa, an Italian-Omani couple in life and at work, and from their over twenty years of experience in the tourism industry, both as guides and as travelers. The company is authorized by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (L2285480) and registered with the Chamber of Commerce (CR1148509) since 2012, the year it was founded.
Desert Camels Adventure Tours organizes tailor-made tours with personalized itineraries, as well as small group tours with fixed departure dates. Our trips are always escorted by a team of local professionals: experienced Omani drivers and guides, certified by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism with an official license.
Our itineraries often reach off-the-beaten-track places, small gems of great beauty far away from mass tourism. Our fleet of comfortable 4WD vehicles (Toyota Land Cruiser and Nissan Patrol) allows us to bring our guests to discover the most remote and pristine areas in full safety.
